Business digitalization through a low-code platform deployment

Regulatory medical training tracking modernized on the Power Platform ecosystem. Manual processes replaced by an automated, secured solution.

01 Challenges and context

Context and strategic stakes

A Swiss medical group, operating under significant regulatory pressure, needed to modernize the management of continuous training for its physicians. This training is mandatory for maintaining their FMS certifications. Previously, this critical tracking was performed using Excel spreadsheets and paper forms, leading to non-compliance risks and a heavy administrative burden. The objective was to digitalize this end-to-end business process via a Low-Code approach, while ensuring data security and empowering the teams.

02 Work carried out

Approach and methodology

The project began with a functional audit of the medical training management processes and FMS milestone tracking. After mapping the roles (physicians, HR managers, administration), we designed the target solution architecture using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The design included Power Apps for the user interface, Dataverse for secure and structured certificate storage, Power Automate for reminder workflows, and Power BI for compliance dashboards.
